DrinC 1.7.0.91 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The actual developer of the free program is Lab. of RW & WRM - NTUA.
The latest version of the program can be downloaded for PCs running Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11, 32-bit. The most popular versions among DrinC users are 1.7, 1.5 and 1.2. The program's installer file is generally known as DrinC.exe. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. The main objective of the software is to facilitate the procedure of the calculation of drought indices,
which may be a complicated task especially in the case of the assessment of the spatial distribution of indices.
Three drought indices can be calculated using DrinC:
- Deciles
- SPI (Standardized Precipitation Index)
- RDI (Reconnaissance Drought Index)
