I have lived in Harney County fior 64 years. I feel that the people in Harney county rights were taken away from us regarding staying in Oregon or to go to Idaho. We weren't alowed to have our voices heard either by phone, E-mail or in person. I want to stay in Oregon. I feel that if Idaho gets all of Eastern Oregon that our way of live as we know it will be lost for ever. We fought hard to keep a state sale tax out of Oregon and people want to go to a state that has one. Don't make sense to me. We also have a bottle bill that will be lost. The wide open spaces will be gone for ever because of crime, ganes, hotels. more people and trafic. The wild life will be pushed out and where will they go. Food, gas, etc. is high enough then adding a sales tax on top of that the peple on fixed incomes won't be able to make it.
