There was a download of FilterSynth 1.0.1 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The software lies within Multimedia Tools, more precisely Music Production. This free program was originally designed by DavidPutman. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The most popular version of the FilterSynth 1.0. The program's installer file is generally known as FilterSynthVST.exe.

FilterSynth is a free VSTi synthesizer or SoftSynth.
You can also use it as a stand-alone instrument connected to a MIDI keyboard or sequencer and it will respond to the full range of MIDI commands. It has:
- 4 oscillators with selectable waveforms
- ADSR envelope stage
- filter stage with selectable filter type
- full preset management with 20 presets
