G-Raster

Description
Digitize maps and calibrate them as a KMZ picture via Google Earth. Process the result and view the image in Garmin GPS units. Import images in TIFF, GIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, TGA, PPM, PGM, and other formats, and have them automatically calibrated, tiled, and transcoded into the correct format.
G-Raster 6.0 can be downloaded from our website for free. This PC program was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 and is compatible with 32-bit systems. The default filename for the program's installer is G-Raster.exe. This software is an intellectual property of Moagu. The following versions: 6.0, 4.9 and 4.5 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. G-Raster lies within Photo & Graphics Tools, more precisely Viewers & Editors.
From the developer:
G-Raster is a program program that turbocharges the process of creating raster Custom Maps for your Garmin GPS receiver. It lets you easily convert KMZ overlay files calibrated in Google Earth, using images larger than 1024 x 1024 pixels, by chopping them up into smaller tiles fully compatible with Garmin units.
You may want to check out more software, such as Panorama Maker, OB WMP11 or MSR Group Shot, which might be related to G-Raster.
