Description
Use multiple tools to create models of various drive parts, including spur, helical, rack, face, bevel, and worm gears, involute splines, timing belt pulleys, elliptical gears, chain sprockets, V-belt pulleys, and cycloidal drives. Import and export spreadsheets in the XLS format.
Downloading GearTrax 5.0 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available.
GearTrax.exe, GearTrax2003.exe, GearTrax2005.exe, GearTrax2010.exe and GearTrax2013.exe are the most common filenames for this program's installer.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The program is included in Photo & Graphics Tools. The following version: 5.0 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. This tool was originally designed by Camnetics, Inc.

GearTrax™ is intuitively easy to use for the designer with limited gear experience yet powerful enough for the gear expert.
The animation window shows the spur/helical gear mesh which updates as the data is changed. It is extremely useful in understanding how changes to the gear parameters reflects on the gear mesh.
GearTrax™ is more than a library program.
You may want to check out more software, such as ThumbsPlus Digicam Raw Plug-in, Panorama Tools or JustCad, which might be similar to GearTrax.
