GenICam
There was a download of GenICam 2.4.1 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The actual developer of the free program is EMVA. The most popular versions of the software 2.4, 2.3 and 2.1.
CBuilder_GeniCam.exe, DelphiGenICamExample.exe, GenICamBrowser.exe, GenICamExplorer.exe or GenICamInterfaceLayout.exe are the common file names to indicate the GenICam installer. GenICam is categorized as System Utilities. This PC software can be installed on 32-bit versions of Windows XP/XP Professional/7/8/10/11.

The goal of GenICamTM is to provide a generic programming interface for all kinds of cameras and devices. No matter what interface technology (GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, CoaXPress, Camera Link HS, Camera Link, 1394 DCAM, etc.) they are using or what features they are implementing, the application programming interface (API) should be always the same.
