GeoclipSolo
There was a download of GeoclipSolo 2.5.0.33 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The most popular versions among GeoclipSolo users are 2.5 and 2.0. The actual developer of the software is EMC3. The most frequent installer filename for the software is: geoclipbuilder.exe. The program lies within Education Tools, more precisely Languages. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.

Géoclip Solo includes a building tool which is described above. It also includes a base map conversion tool (see picture opposite). The geographic layers which are assembled to build a géoclip are in the swf format.
The conversion tool is used to convert MapInfo or Shape files into files that the Flash player can read. Each layer is converted depending on its type: polygons, lines, points and its destination.
You may want to check out more software, such as Rincevent, SpanishUno or Clavis Sinica, which might be similar to GeoclipSolo.
