HIEW
Description

Open and view the content of hex files and edit the code as text or decode models via the utility modeled after classic DOS programs and controlled via the keyboard. Previewing the included tables is possible in the following types: Windows-1250, Windows-1251, Koi-8 or Unicode-CP_OEMCP.
There was a download of HIEW 8.53 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The software lies within Development Tools, more precisely IDE.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The most frequent installation filename for the program is: hiew32.exe. This tool was originally created by Eugene Suslikov. The most popular versions of the program are 8.5, 8.2 and 1.0.
From the developer:
This software application allows you to view and edit files of any length in text, hex, and decode modes. You can also block operations: read, write, fill, copy, move, insert, delete, crypt, it has a pattern search in the disassembler, support for NE, LE, LX, PE/PE32 and little-endian ELF/ELF64 executable formats and more
You may want to check out more software, such as GnuWin32: LibIconv, SpinnerDemo or Greatis Form Designer.Net, which might be related to HIEW.
