Hide Computer
Description
Hide Computer 1.5 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The program belongs to System Utilities. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. This free software was originally created by SecurityXploded. The following versions: 1.5 and 1.0 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
From the developer:
Hide Computer is the free command-line tool quickly Hide or unhide your computer on the Network.
This tool will allow you to hide your system from Network Neighborhood and other browsing tools. However your friend who knows the shared file name, will be able to access it.
It automatically checks for the current Hidden status of your computer and accordingly hide or unhide it.
You may want to check out more software, such as Super Hide IP, Hide ALL IP or IP Hider Pro, which might be similar to Hide Computer.
