From the developer:

Hocus Pocus is a little program developed to help the users hide or show their running applications by simple shortcuts and user friendly interface.
The main feature of this program is that it hides applications in public areas, protecting the users privacy.
Hocus Pocus has other good features, such as managing the applications with the kill button, the show button or the maximize button.

You may want to check out more software, such as File Pulverizer, Drive Cleanup Wizard or Passwords Keeper, which might be similar to Hocus Pocus.
