HyperXBall is an exciting and innovative game in the Sports subcategory under Games. The latest version, 1.0, offers a unique twist on traditional soccer. Instead of kicking the ball, players use a special gun to shoot it. Developed by HyperKat Games, HyperXBall transforms the standard soccer experience by incorporating elements of a shooting game, set in arenas the size of a typical soccer field, albeit played indoors for the moment.

The game, which can be easily downloaded with the file name HXB.exe, is designed with LAN parties in mind but also supports online play. The multiplayer feature allows up to four players per team, with the host able to select various gameplay options. An intriguing aspect of HyperXBall is that projectiles can damage players, sending them to the penalty box if they become disabled, adding a layer of strategy and intensity to the matches.

With a massive 10-foot diameter squishy ball, it feels akin to playing pool but on a much grander scale. Additionally, the game includes five single-player "Trials" where players can run for time and score, honing their ball control skills in preparation for tournaments.
