Impro-Visor is a music notation program for jazz musicians. The main objective of this program is to improve understanding of solo construction and tune chord changes. Since rhythm-section (e.g. piano, bass, drums) accompaniment is automatically generated from chords, Impro-Visor can be used as a play-along device.
You may want to check out more software, such as Improvisor, Resolume Avenue or AthTek DigiBand, which might be similar to Impro-Visor.

I have downloaded Impro-Visor 10, but when I want to change the Device for midi output, the program freezes and I have close it. With the default setting I get no sound on playback. Please advise. Thank you.
