Description

MP3Quiz is a captivating application developed by Canopus-Ware that brings an enjoyable music trivia experience right to your computer. In its latest version, 1.0.8, this program plays excerpts of music from random MP3 files selected from your own collection or those on a networked computer. The objective is straightforward: identify the MP3 Artists and Title from a list of possible answers.

Upon launching MP3Quiz.exe, players can set up the game by naming the players or teams that will participate. Afterward, by pressing NEXT, the system will search for MP3 music files based on the folder selection in OPTIONS. This ensures a customizable experience, as players can choose how many questions will be asked in each round, as well as the level of difficulty for each question set.

The game is compatible with iTunes and Windows Media Player, as well as other PC music libraries. Even if you don’t have a traditional music library, as long as you have a folder on your PC connected to MP3Quiz, you can start the fun. It supports older versions like 1.0 and runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8, covering a wide range of systems. Categorically, MP3Quiz falls under Multimedia, with a specific contribution to the Editors & Converters subcategory.

Though generally engaging, the app does have its drawbacks. MP3Quiz sometimes repeats questions within smaller question sets and requires a specific number of songs per question generated, which can be limiting for users with smaller music libraries. Despite this, it remains a lightweight and enjoyable way to test music knowledge. More

You may want to check out more software, such as DVD Copy Express, which might be similar to MP3Quiz.
