I recently purchased the Mellosoftron and I am very impressed with its features. The ability to create and edit audio samples for large-scale production is incredibly helpful. The low-latency elements and hardware-independent tools are also great for creating music and sound design. The built-in MIDI player is also a great feature and makes it very easy to manage custom sequences. Overall, I highly recommend the Mellosoftron for anyone looking to produce high-quality music and sound design.

The Mellosoftron is a low latency, fully programmable virtual sampler. In short, it turns your PC into a sampler which you can play live with a MIDI keyboard, with a sequencer or with any MIDI file player. Any sound card with a DirectSound 3 (or later) driver will do - you don't need a particular brand or model. You can edit all instrument patches and create new ones from scratch using your own WAVs as sound sources.
