Description
There was a download of Note Detector 1.0.2.9 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This software was originally developed by TMIV Productions. The most popular version of the tool is 1.0. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The program belongs to Multimedia Tools. Note Detector works fine with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP/7/8/10/11.

I decided to explore both the musical and programming aspects of C# all at once. As a first project I built the Note Detector. It opens the sound card and if you have a mic it will tell you the musical note that it hears. It displays the note name C,D,E#,etc and it shows you the note's position on the staff.
Note Detector can be used as a guitar tuner or a singing voice pitch trainer. I use it as an educational device.
