You traveled to the temple, in a village lost in the mountains and came across an old book. Just out of curiosity, you opened it, and at that moment the monsters emerged from nowhere. What to do? Run away? It's not so easy to escape from these monsters. It's good that the temple had old weapons, and no one knows where they came from. Perhaps you are not the first who opened the book.
