OpenNumismat lets you organize your collection of coins.

There're more than 20 coins of different values in the database. Every coin is provided with a short general description (Name, Country, Value, Type), Parametres (Material, Weight, Shape) and Design.

I find it's very convenient that you can easily edit or even batch edit data on every item. There're about sixty fields to fill in. To manage your collection, you should filter and sort all information. All that really makes your collection look systematic and complete. The program allows adding up to 7 images as well. You can do it by uploading a photo from a file, inserting URL from the Internet or clipboarding.

One more significant advantage is that you can generate a report about any coin and then print it. The result will be very pretty as the application does this job for you and automatically arranges the description in HTML, PDF, DOC.

I don't think that the program will be of great need for professional numismatists but it's worth a try for simple coin lovers. In general, OpenNumismat is a highly customizable easy-to-use app with its own database.
