PRE-Flight 1.0.0.1 could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. 3D Viewing in PRE-Flight is accomplished by merging 2 sterescopic views of the same image such that each eye "sees" the 2 images and the brain perceives it as a single 3D image.

This technology allows an ordinary flat screen to have depth and enhances the realism of the simulation. Objects that are nearer or farther are percieved as being near or far - unlike conventional 2D simulators which cannot convey such information.

You may want to check out more software, such as Fiery Command WorkStation, callas pdfToolbox or callas pdfToolbox Server, which might be similar to PRE-Flight.
