Description
Permadelete 0.6.2 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The latest version of Permadelete is supported on PCs running Windows 7/8/10/11, both 32 and 64-bit.

Permadelete is a free and open source file shredder, it deletes your files beyond recovery. It's made to be beautiful and easy to use and yet powerful.
When a file is deleted, only a reference to the location of the file is deleted. In other words, the file system just forgets about the existence of the file. But the actual data, the 0s and 1s, still remain on the disk.
