SafeCleaner 2.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The program lies within System Utilities, more precisely Backup & Restore.
The actual developer of the free software is Duthersoft. We cannot guarantee that the program is safe to download as it will be downloaded from the developer's website. Before launching the program, check it with any free antivirus software. The most popular versions among the program users are 2.0 and 1.2. Commonly, this program's installer has the following filename: SafeCleaner.exe.
From the developer:
Whenever you 'delete' a file, no matter how many times you empty your recycle bin, the file is not really deleted. Instead, the Operative System (Windows) 'forgets' about the file, not linking to it or showing it anymore, and overwriting it with new data if (and only if) it needs to. However, most of the time, Windows does not require the space that the deleted file still occupies.
You may want to check out more software, such as Paragon Rescue Kit or USB SIM Card Reader, which might be related to SafeCleaner.
