SmartException
Description
SmartException 2.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The software is included in System Utilities.
The following version: 2.0 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. The actual developer of the free program is Stardock Corporation. SmartEx.exe is the default file name to indicate this program's installer. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

SmartException is a utility that can be used to help gather additional information about an application that has crashed.
When an application who's .EXE is in the configured list crashes, a dialog appears in addition to the Windows Error Reporting dialog (on XP). This dialog allows you to enter what you were doing and optionally include up to 10 images to be sent with your report.
You may want to check out more software, such as Clean Disk 2003, KDE Pim/Platform-independent or NuLOOQ navigator, which might be similar to SmartException.
