Stims is a great tool for keeping your computer active while it's actually inactive. It's easy to set up and configure, and the default setting of a simulated button press every minute is a great way to ensure that your computer doesn't enter sleep mode or activate a screensaver. Highly recommended!

Downloading Stims 1.020 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The software lies within System Utilities, more precisely Automation. The most popular version of the program 1.0.

Stims.exe and stims_gui.exe are the most common filenames for this program's installer. We cannot guarantee that the program is safe to download as it will be downloaded from the developer's website. Before launching the program, check it with any free antivirus software. This free software was originally developed by ACAPsoft.

From the developer:

Stims runs subtly in the tray and can prevent the computer shutting down due to inactivity for a selectable period from 30 minutes to 2 days. It can also be locked on. This program can be set to simply prevent shutdowns, or it can make the computer think someone is active by simulating a button press every minute.

You may want to check out more software, such as Karen's Time Sync, Sender's Time Zone for Outlook or Sender's Time Zone for Microsoft Outlook, which might be similar to Stims.
