SurferWatcher -

SurferWatcher - 4.0 is a robust Internet monitoring tool developed by SCATI Labs, specifically designed for Windows 7. This innovative program, found under the Internet & Network category, particularly the Network Tools subcategory, offers a comprehensive solution for recording and evaluating web activities on a computer. The application operates seamlessly in the background, making it one of the most unobtrusive monitoring tools available.

Upon download, users will find the free program file named SurferWatcher.exe. The latest version, 4.0, upholds the strong reputation built by its predecessors. Notably, it capably logs website titles and URLs accessed via Internet Explorer or America Online, allowing you to thoroughly review most online activities. For those using other browsers like Netscape, Opera, or Mozilla, this software will record only the titles of visited websites. A particular advantage is its ability to be configured to either log this limited information or block these browsers entirely, compelling users to stick to Internet Explorer or America Online.

Pros:

• Comprehensive Internet monitoring: Records both website titles and URLs, providing complete insight into web activities.
• Background operation: Works silently, making it undetectable during regular computer usage.

Cons:

• Browser limitations: Restricted functionality with browsers other than Internet Explorer or America Online.
• Platform restriction: Only supports Windows 7, limiting compatibility with other operating systems.
