There was a download of TransMac 14.6 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This software is a product of Acute Systems. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
The software is included in System Utilities. Commonly, this program's installer has the following filenames: TransMac.exe, RunAsDate.exe and TransMac orig.exe etc. You can set up this PC software on Windows XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 32-bit. The following versions: 12.9, 12.8 and 12.7 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. ".dmg" and ".sparseimage" are the extensions this PC software can open.
From the developer:
TransMac is a simple program that can be used to open and extract files from Mac-compatible APFS/HFS/HFS format disk drives, flash drives, CD/DVD/Blu-ray media, HD floppies, and dmg, dmgpart, sparsebundle, and sparseimage files. It lets you create, compress, expand and split DMG files. You can also burn ISO images and DMG files directly to optical discs.
You may want to check out more software, such as WD Discovery, Format USB Or Flash Drive Software or Samsung Drive Manager, which might be similar to TransMac.
