Description

Downloading Verisign Root Certificate 1.0 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The following version: 1.0 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. The actual developer of the free program is Symantec Corporation. Verisign Root Certificate lies within System Utilities, more precisely Automation.

From the developer:

This root CA is the root currently used for Secure Site Certificates and Standard SSL Certificates. It is intended to be the primary root used for these products until Q4 2010 when VeriSign transitions to using a 2048 bit root. Vendors should not plan on removing support for this root until officially advised that the root is no longer needed to support certificates or CRL validation.

You may want to check out more software, such as CAcert Root Certificates, Kingo Android ROOT or Word Roots A2, which might be similar to Verisign Root Certificate.
