Download of WD Anywhere Access 4.2.27 was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. ServiceStatusGui.exe or WDAnywhereAccess_3_6_0.exe are the frequent file names to indicate the WD Anywhere Access installer.

Upon starting, the service establishes a connection across the Internet with MioNet. The client program is distributed in 2 formats, as a Java applet, and an installable program.
