Description
Downloading Wavelet Sound Explorer 0.50 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This free program was originally developed by Steve Hanov.
The following version: 0.5 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. The program's installer is commonly called wavelet.exe. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. Wavelet Sound Explorer is included in Multimedia Tools.

Wavelet Sound Explorer is a freeware program for Windows that lets you view sound files in the frequency/time domain. It should be of interest to students in the areas of acoustics, phonetics, and anyone interested in sound.
The aim of this project is to create an audio editor based on the continuous wavelet transform. The CWT is particularly convenient, since the original waveform can be reproduced simply by adding up the columns of the image.
