Win9x PassView 1.1 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The program relates to Security Tools. The actual developer of the free software is NirSoft.

The Win9x PassView utility reveals the passwords stored on your computer by Windows 95/98 operating system.
It can reveal 4 types of passwords: the user name and the password of the current logged-on user, the cached passwords of the current logged-on user, the passwords of your network shares (Only with share-level access control) and the password of the screen saver.
