WinGREP
WinGREP 3.0 was free to download from our software library. The most popular version of the program is 3.0. This program is a product of Hurricane Software, Inc. The default filenames for the program's installer are wingrep.exe or WINGRP32.exe etc. The software is included in System Utilities.

A file greping utility for Windows 95. Its features include: searching multiple drives and directories. Uses a logical search pattern so multiple strings may be entered to narrow down the grep, works in the background so that you may continue to work. Allows you to view the found file(s) in the associated viewer for that extension or notepad if none exists. Will let you delete or execute the found file(s). Automatically saves your searches.
You may want to check out more software, such as DeskCam, File Substring Replacement Utility or A2 Oasis, which might be similar to WinGREP.
