Recovery Toolbox for Word is said to be able to recover damaged or corrupted Word or Rich Text files on your PC. The program's wizard guides users gradually through the process. You just need to determine the destination, hit a couple of buttons, and the software is supposed to analyze the data and recover it.

We should say at once that the program did not perform very well in our tests. There being no corrupted Word files on our computer, we damaged some files intentionally and tested the software with their help. The results were rather discouraging: the program failed to recover a single symbol of the documents. Then we tried to "recover" good files. The results were much better, but still Recovery Toolbox for Word managed to recover neither tables nor images. What comes to the text, it lost its font settings. Moreover, some users may find the way the program displays the analyzed data very inconvenient: the text is spread for miles horizontally, and you have to scroll it for quite a long time to view the whole of it.

Overall, we were rather dissatisfied with the program's performance. Besides, with the wide range of modern software, users hardly ever get their Word documents corrupted.
