World Landscapes
Description
I recently purchased World Landscapes for my 2004 or X versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator and I'm absolutely amazed at the level of detail and accuracy. The elevation information is incredibly accurate up to 38 meters, while the resolution is accurate up to 9.6 meters. I'm able to fly to a variety of places including Africa, New Zealand, Asia, Japan, Australia, Canada, Alps, Central America, and more. The scenery is beautiful and the experience of flying to these places is realistic and immersive. I highly recommend World Landscapes for anyone looking to add more depth and realism to their Flight Simulator experience.
World Landscapes 2.01 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This tool was originally produced by Contact Sales Ltd.
World Landscapes works fine with 32-bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11. The software belongs to Games. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The most popular versions among the software users are 2.0 and 1.0.
From the developer:
This package contains two versions of World Landscapes , one for FS2004 and a new version for FSX. So whatever flight sim package you choose to fly with there will be a World Landscapes to suit your requirements. The default data elevation has been replaced by 76-metre elevation delivering a jaw dropping 9 times more accurate scenery. FSX version also includes planned tours for you to fly in a brand new Socata TB21 Trinidad.
You may want to check out more software, such as The Mana World, ATP World Tour Live Connection or Hector's World Safety Button, which might be similar to World Landscapes.
