Zawgyi is not Unicode and it has many problems. Using any of the Zawgyi fonts creates text that is not usable on most platforms. For example, Shan typed with Zawgyi-Tai is unreadable on platforms with standard Unicode fonts. Burmese in Zawgyi is not usable on most computers.

Unicode also allows the use of many different fonts and styles.

I urge the team to promote one of the many Unicode fonts rather than Zawgyi. More Zawgyi is not a way to help users use the Internet.
