The program is pretty straightforward in that it does exactly what it says on the tin - it makes PDF documents out of provided images. In fact, the program's title is somewhat of an understatement: in addition to .bmp files, this converter also supports .jpeg, .tiff, and .gif images, which makes it a little more versatile than it may seem. It actually has got some more benefits under the hood.
Firstly, the PDF files it creates are quite customisable. Not only in terms of basic settings such as page size or resolution, but documents can also be encrypted (up to 128-bit RC4), include recognised text as meta information, and contain predefined settings for viewers they may be opened in (hide menu bar or tool bar, override page placement, and so on). Images can also be altered for uniformity: they can be automatically rotated or oriented, as well as stamped. Sadly, there is nothing can be done about the image compression, which only depends on the overall DPI (dot per inch) setting. Nor, as a matter of fact, it is possible to change image placement, those always being placed one per page - which somewhat limits the program's field of application (I could only think of one use, actually: converting scanned sheet music into PDF). Still, the program does very well what it claims to be able to do.
