From the developer:
Foto Filer was developed out of the need to provide meaningful names to photos captured and then downloaded from digital cameras to the PC. No commercially available software provides such a simple way to assign a name to a photograph as the Foto Filer approach does. And Foto Filer does not utilize a proprietary software database allowing the user to share a renamed photo with someone on another computer.
You may want to check out more software, such as e-foto, File Joiner or Mareew File Recovery, which might be related to Foto Filer.
