There was a download of Meliar Design MPanel FEA 5.0 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The software lies within Education Tools, more precisely Science Tools. The most popular version of the tool is 6.0. The program's installer files are generally known as FEA Interface.exe or FEA_Interface.exe etc. This tool was originally created by Meliar Design.

Mpanel FEA determines the fabric stresses, cable tensions and corner reactions for a tensile structure under different loading conditions. This is a specialized problem, as the solution has to cope with orthotropic material properties, fabric wrinkling, slack fabric, slack cables and large structure deformations.
The FEA interface has been designed to simplify this problem to a series of easily understandable steps.
