There was a download of NVIDIA Photoshop Plug-ins 8.5 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The most popular version among NVIDIA Photoshop Plug-ins users is 8.5. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The software lies within Multimedia Tools, more precisely Editors & Converters. The actual developer of the free program is NVIDIA Corporation.
From the developer:
The NVIDIA Normal Map filter creates normal maps from grayscale height maps. The filter UI provides a powerful 3D preview and a variety of filtering options. For MIP-mapped normal maps, the NormalMap Filter should be used for preview only, and then the grayscale map exported via the DDS plugin with "Normal Map Settings..." enabled.
You may want to check out more software, such as SRDx Photoshop Plug-in, NVIDIA PhysX Plug-in for Autodesk Maya bit or Photoshop Interface Assistant, which might be related to NVIDIA Photoshop Plug-ins.
