The most frequent installer filenames for the software are: gned.exe, plove.exe and scalars.exe etc. OMNeT++ can be installed on Windows XP/7/8 environment, 32-bit version. OMNeT is an extensible, modular, component-based C simulation library and framework, primarily for building network simulators.
