PathTrak 2.7 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The program's installer is commonly called Bcc.WinForm.pathTRAK.exe or PTClient.exe etc. The actual developer of the free software is JDSU. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The software is included in System Utilities. The most popular versions of the software 2.7 and 2.4.

Summary of changes in PathTrak Server/Client version 2.7:
- This release allows for sharing of a single HSM-1000 across up to 8 HCU200’s
- Assumes that upstreams served by nodes on all HCU200’s sharing HSM have common downstream combining point for telemetry channel insertion
- Only available on HCU200’s, no plans to offer for other HCU models
- One HCU200 (designated as primary) has physical serial cable connection to HSM
- Remainder of HCU200’s communicate with primary via Ethernet
- Requires Firmware Package version 2.80 or higher
