Description

Emulate the work of an operating system via an open-source toolset. Run system files and standard programs from the actual computer drives detected by the emulated environment. Create remote access points to work with files and programs of different devices.

There was a download of Qemu 7.2 on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. Qemu belongs to System Utilities.

According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The actual developer of the free software is Fabrice Bellard.

This PC software can be installed on 32-bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11. The most popular versions of the Qemu are 5.1, 5.0 and 4.2. The most frequent installation filenames for the software include: qemu-img-gui.exe, Qsib.exe, QemuManager.exe, qemu.exe and qemu-system-x86_64w.exe etc.

From the developer:

QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer. When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine (e.g. an ARM board) on a different machine (e.g. your own PC). By using dynamic translation, it achieves very good performance.

When used as a virtualizer, QEMU achieves near native performance by executing the guest code directly on the host CPU.

You may want to check out more software, such as Qemu Simple Boot, UFS Explorer RAID Recovery or Recovery Explorer Standard, which might be similar to Qemu.
