The program lies within Development Tools, more precisely Database Tools. The actual developer of the free software is sqldbatips. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

SQL 2005 Service Manager is a replacement for the SQL Server Service Manager that came with SQL Server 2000 but is no longer shipped as part of SQL Server. It allows the management and monitoring of all local SQL Server related services from a convenient system tray application for all editions of SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008.
