Downloading StartPro 2.0 from our website was free. The actual developer of the program is Daedalus Software. StartPro lies within System Utilities, more precisely System Optimization. Our antivirus analysis shows that this download is malware free.
From the developer:
StartPro allows users to add and remove programs located in the Registry, Startup folder, and win.ini file that load during start-up. Features include SmartBin, which saves deleted items for future restoration, and Boot Options, which allows the user to modify settings located in the msdos.sys file. StartPro also includes support for drag-and-drop and clipboard functions. This version includes added protection against overwriting the msdos.
You may want to check out more software, such as Lasso, NuLOOQ navigator or XPY, which might be similar to StartPro.
