Download of TruPax 8.0 was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 8.0, 3.0 and 2.0 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users.
The program's installer is commonly called javaw.exe. The program lies within System Utilities, more precisely File Managers. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. This free tool was originally developed by CODERSLAGOON.
From the developer:
TruPax generates container files from arbitrary sets of files and folders. Such files match exactly the size of the contained material and can be mounted by TrueCrypt, but also directly extracted using TruPax itself. This program also wipes files after container generation, or just as a separate action. You can invalidate any TrueCrypt container with it very quickly.
You may want to check out more software, such as Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Professional, S.M.A.R.T. Disk Monitor or Card Reader, which might be related to TruPax.
