Unhide 2.0.0.0 was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. This free tool was originally developed by Lawrence Abrams.
The software lies within System Utilities, more precisely Automation. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
From the developer:
Unhide is a program that reverts back the changes made to your files and Windows Registry by the rogue. The program will open a black box and start making the files on your fixed disks visible again. Please note, that this program will not unhide removable drives like flash cards and usb drives as the FakeHDD rogues do not target these types of drives.
You may want to check out more software, such as Diswy, Hide Computer or Hidden Windows 10 Features, which might be similar to Unhide.
