WetSock is a great weather app that provides access to current weather data from multiple official sources. It allows users to analyze the conditions, generate forecasts, and download the data from a server over the Internet. It also displays the updated information regarding the weather changes and issues notifications by email. This is a great tool for anyone who needs to stay up to date on the weather.
WetSock 4.9.13.1304 could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. From the developer:
WetSock shows your current weather conditions and forecasts as an icon on the tray notification area of the system taskbar. Designed specially for Windows 95, WetSock will keep you updated about the weather over Internet without even needing to dial into your Internet Service Provider. If you periodically dial in for surfing, checking your mail etc.
You may want to check out more software, such as Spam Monitor, SDP or Advanced Folders Watch, which might be related to WetSock.
