Description

Generate and customize programs and code bundles made using Python. Access a utility for quick script building and assign the newly-generated elements to the relevant projects. Work with cross-platform developments and add or remove specific scripted components.

You can download cx_Freeze 6.1 from our software library for free. Commonly, this program's installer has the following filename: Pythonwin.exe. Our built-in antivirus scanned this download and rated it as virus free.

Cx_Freeze is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8 environment, 32 and 64-bit versions. The most popular version among the software users is 4.3. This free program is a product of Anthony Tuininga. The software belongs to Development Tools. The software can also be called "Python cxFreeze-4.3.1".

From the developer:

cx_Freeze is a set of scripts and modules for freezing Python scripts into executables, in much the same way that py2exe and py2app do. Unlike these two tools, cx_Freeze is cross platform and should work on any platform that Python itself works on. It supports Python 2.3 or higher (including Python 3), since it makes use of the zip import facility which was introduced in 2.3.

You may want to check out more software, such as C++ Compiler, Sun Java Toolkit for CDC or MIDletPascal, which might be related to cx_Freeze.
