The Media Server application allows you to port forward the IP from the computer in order for the resources to be accessible remotely. Beside port forwarding, the application provides ways to protect the IP with a password. The resource directory (videos, music, pictures) can be changed from the General tab. If the application is used through a router, the user needs to open the forwarding port number used in the application.
