transScriber
Description
transScriber 8.5.1.102 could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The following versions: 8.5 and 1.7 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. TransScriber is included in Office Tools. The default filename for the program's installer is transScriber.exe. This free program is an intellectual property of The Planet.
From the developer:
TransScriber is a small tool for playing back a sound file while you type the words spoken into your favourite text editor, like Microsoft Word. TransScriber can play sound files in a number of formats and lets you control the speed, pause, create bookmarks and navigate around the timeline of your interview, all while you are using your word processor in full screen.
You may want to check out more software, such as eXcelatorCTR or Twiddlebit Pocket Plan, which might be similar to transScriber.
