OB-Xd 2.14 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. The application is included in Audio & Video Tools. This Mac application is a product of discoDSP.

OB-Xd is based on the Oberheim OB-X. It attempts to recreate its sound and behavior, but as the original was very limited in some important ways a number of things were added or altered to the original design. OB-Xd was designed to sound as good and as rich as the original. It implements micro random detuning which is a big part of that sound.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as CROSS-DJ, FuzzMeasure or AmpliTube Metal, which might be similar to OB-Xd.
