Description
The 0.6.8 version of TeXworks for Mac was available as a free download on our website. This free software for Mac OS X was originally produced by Jonathan Kew, Stefan Löffler, Charlie Sharpsteen. TeXworks for Mac lies within Developer Tools, more precisely IDE.
The following versions: 0.4 and 0.3 were the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. This application's bundle is identified as org.tug.texworks. TeXworks-Mac-0.3r567.zip or TeXworks-Mac-0.4.3-r858-Sn.dmg are the frequent file names to indicate this app's installer.
From the developer:
The TeXworks project is an effort to build a simple TeX front-end program (working environment) that will be available for all today’s major desktop operating systems—in particular, MS Windows (XP/Vista/7), typical GNU/Linux distros and other X11-based systems, as well as Mac OS X. It is deliberately modeled on Dick Koch’s award-winning TeXShop for Mac OS X, which is credited with a resurgence of TeX usage on the Mac platform.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Arduino or RStudio, which might be related to TeXworks.
