Description

Stream the content of your Mac's desktop to the device supporting Apple TV by setting up a Wi-Fi connection via the application. Mirroring the screen in resolutions up to 1080p is possible, customization features are available. Quality adjustment in real time is an option.

The 3.1.5 version of AirParrot for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. Airparrot.dmg is the most frequent filename for this program's installer.

The following versions: 1.5, 1.4 and 1.3 are the most frequently downloaded ones by the program users. This program was developed to work on Mac OS X 10.6 or later. The unique ID for this application's bundle is com.squirrels.AirParrot. The software belongs to System Tools. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. This Mac app was originally created by Airparrot.

From the developer:

AirParrot 2 uses AirPlay to mirror your Mac's screen to Apple TV, wirelessly. This is great for Macs that are older than mid-2011 as OS X 10.8's AirPlay mirroring does not work on them.

You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Air Mouse Server, Periscope or Splashtop Streamer, which might be similar to AirParrot.
